  • International Journal of Islamic Thought and Society

    IJITS (International Journal of Islamic Thought and Society) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of Islamic thought and the study of social dynamics within both local and global contexts. The journal aims to serve as a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to publish original research articles, conceptual studies, and critical analyses that explore the relationship between Islamic values and contemporary societal issues.

    The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

    • Classical and contemporary Islamic thought

    • Islamic philosophy and theology

    • Qur’anic and Hadith studies in social contexts

    • Sociology and anthropology of Islam

    • Islamic law and society

    • Islamic education

    • Islam and global issues (modernity, democracy, gender, environment, and technology)

    IJITS accepts manuscripts in English and Indonesian that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and scholarly contribution.

    With a strong commitment to academic integrity and open scientific inquiry, IJITS seeks to contribute to the enrichment of Islamic scholarship and provide relevant perspectives on contemporary social challenges.
